“What’s Love Got to Do With It?” happens to be the best one Working Title has ever produced. “Four Weddings and a Funeral” was a classic, but it didn’t look this spectacular. Everything about this one is lovely and magical, but it’s also deeply heartfelt.

Whats Love Got to Do with It?

11 February: 3 pm & 7 pm
109 Mins | UK  | Romantic Comedy |

Set in both London and Lahore, this vibrant blend of romance and humour combined with a dash of drama offers a cross-cultural perspective on why arranged marriages may hold appeal, while also highlighting the unpredictability of the course that love can take.  Zoe, a young film maker, learns this firsthand as she documents the preparations for an arranged marriage between her friend and neighbour Kazim and a beautiful young woman in Pakistan.  Lily James plays Zoe, with Emma Thompson as her opinionated mother.  They combine their talents with those of rising stars Shazad Latif and Sajal Aly, director Shekar Kapur and screenwriter Jemina Khan (once married to Imran Khan) to deliver this heart-warming look at how different cultures approach love and marriage.
