Daawat Indian Cuisine provides a convenient takeaway service for patrons attending our fortnightly Saturday evening screenings.
Daawat delivers meals to the Maleny Community Centre by 6 pm, Meals must be pre-ordered at Daawat either online or by phone by 5:30 pm. Daawat meals must be picked up between 6 pm and 6:15 pm from the Daawat table, situated just inside the Maleny Community Hall entrance.
Please remember that the Maleny Community Centre is a licensed venue, so all drinks consumed on the premises must be purchased from the bar.
ORDER ONLINE
Place your order before 5:30 pm on the day of the Saturday night film.
Go to the Daawat Indian Cuisine website. https://daawatindian.com.au/
Add your selections to the basket.
Regardless of how many meals you order, go to the Maleny Event Catering tab and add one Takeaway Extra Cutlery option to the basket (you will receive a credit for this at the end).
Go to the Basket.
Ensure the Pick Up tab is active in the basket.
Click on +Coupon in the basket.
Enter SHOWTIME as the coupon code. This provides the takeaway cutlery free of charge and lets Daawat know that you will collect your order at the film screening. If you order more than one meal, Daawat will provide sufficient takeaway containers and cutlery.
Collect your meal(s) inside the Maleny Community Centre Hall between 6:00 pm and 6:15 pm from the Daawat table near the entrance.

Place and pay for your order over the phone by calling Daawat Indian Cuisine on 0455 375 372 before 5:30 pm on the day of the Saturday night film. Let Daawat know you need your food to be picked up from the hall.
Collect your meal(s) inside the Maleny Community Centre Hall between 6:00 pm and 6:15 pm from the Daawat table near the entrance.
