(Mental health themes, coarse language and a sex scene)

Recuperating after a sold-out concert tour, New Jersey rocker Bruce Springsteen (played by Jeremy Allen White) records a set of songs on a four-track recorder in the bedroom of a rented house. His record company hopes for a hit album, but deems the acoustic songs on the demo tape too dark for their taste. Supported by his manager Jon Landau (Jeremy Strong), Springsteen tries to recapture the essence of these tracks in the studio, backed by the E Street Band. At the same time he navigates a new romance, and a troubled relationship with his abusive alcoholic father. Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere portrays a musician grappling with profound mental health challenges, while poised on the cusp of global superstardom.
